Replaced default (ugly) alert with YUI alert. You could use ESC key to hide the alert as well pressing the usual "Ok" button.
It is not the status bar solution, but when we will redesign the layout, introducing multiple baskets, we will consider a solution including a nice way (better than alert) to display messages to the user.
